The repair work of the holes and building defects at Rivervale Drive will be speeded up, says the Pasir Ris-Punggol Town Council, in response to a STOMP posting about holes in the ground appearing in the area.Earlier, CK had sent a note to STOMP and to the Town Council about the holes appearing in the ground, and expressed concerns that an accident may occur because of the defects.
Says the spokesperson for the Town Council: " We are aware of the building defects at Blocks 193 to 197 Rivervale Drive and have included the repairs under the impending Repainting and Redecoration contract. "Nevertheless we note your concerns and have advanced the repair to the specified location on 15 Sep 2007."
